    There is a channel, ID: UCiS-LhxckosxIdTb6DbqkUA (Кинетические скульптуры братьев Домрачевых) that is big time stealing your stuff. I have no other social media, so I am just dropping the line here. It's a small channel, but I just can't stand people like that.

    It seems there is no loss of energy, a piece of perpetual movement. Have you observed the winds blow over the trees' leaves, give them a velvet and shiny. Love it.

    Did you think about arabic art patterns used for sync linkages? Last shot in this video shows something similar which could be extended further to be more pronounced.

      The only patterns I think about about are those that please me and there are many cultures whose designs I like a great deal. Thanks for asking.

    I like it , and its chaotic approach , but to me its lacking the '' rhythm'' of a more structured piece like octo ,, but we are all different Im sure many wont agree , but either way its got your style in its genes and thats good enough for me.

    compared to his other sculptures, there is nothing that I can see tying one set of rotating blades to another set. Has to be though the way it's synced.

  • @inhibited44
    @inhibited44 3 місяці тому

    Looking at these trying to figure out how to build a smaller one. I think I see how you do this one. I can build a skeleton that will rotate, but mine never spins once the air collecting metal is on. I think I see what you do here though that mine doesn't do

  • @inhibited44

    trying to make one of these after taking a welding class. I am learning what not to do to make one. Trying to make a small 3' wide one. 8 rotating units . Think I need more rotating units with air catchers on them. Skeleton works, but when I try attaching the wind catchers, it does nothing. former mechanical engineering night student trying to figure it out. 60 year old guy. So tough to make it more in less wind.

      Never too late. They kick around formulas like 5% inspiration, 95% work. I would say it’s more like 5% inspiration, 95% persistence and 100% perspiration. Just try to have as much fun as you can and don’t worry about perfection. It will come when and if it is ever the right time.
